Our unique animals are born and reared in Montecavolo in the province of Reggio Emilia. Here they breathe the Emilian air of the “Terre Matildiche” and roam freely in the pastures of Grassano at the foot of the Castle of Canossa, living naturally in a wild or semi-wild state.

Our HISTORY

IbridaBrada was created from the know-how of a group of professionals, accumulated in more than thirty years of operation in the food sector, from knowledge of animal genetics, through breeding, production and targeted distribution, to internal marketing skills.

We live our brand with absolute conviction: an “EXCELLENCE” product must start with animal welfare and continue along a virtuous chain of total quality, including a unique certification. Only after this uncompromising path can it be delivered to the consumer. Aware of this, we entrust our products to market operators who, like us, share the need to achieve excellence. 

ORIGINS

Hardy, strong, lean, raised in the wild and semi-wild without the use of antibiotics, this is the IBRIDABRADA pig, a unique breed, the true essence of the Matildic lands.

WILD FARMING

The land used for wild free-range farming is opened in rotation after sowing and resting to respect the regeneration of the pasture. Strictly natural flours and feeds are the only supplement for free-range feeding, giving the meat a unique and unmistakable flavour. Before slaughtering, the selected pigs are rested in the pigsty to relax the meat and make it more tender.

IBRIDABRADA is not just a type of pig, but an entire process of selection, birth and growth that respects the life of the animal and the end consumer of the meat.

Our high-quality supply chain is limited to a small number of animals. This is the only way to guarantee proper attention and adherence to the disciplinary guidelines that characterise the extraordinary quality of our meat. Slaughtering takes place with exclusively artisan cutting of the meat, the result of the knowledge and experience of our master butchers.
